Terms and Conditions
What is Mind Coaching?
A brief outline: Mind Coaching is a non-therapeutic approach offering clients the opportunity to be supported by a coach in making personal change towards living a more fulfilling life. Through a process of questioning, coaches enable clients to think differently about themselves, their abilities, their opportunities and what they are able to achieve in the world, and then plan towards making positive, lasting change in their own lives.
Mind Coaching is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach (Steven Farrell) and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximise personal and/or professional potential.
It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
All Mind Coaching services and communication, email or otherwise, delivered by Steven Farrell as well as information on this website (www.stevenfarrell.ie) or any other form of media are meant to help you identify the areas in your life and in your thinking that may be preventing you from experiencing greater well-being and moving forward.
Coaching can help a client improve their quality of life or level of business success and to achieve their goals. However, there are no guarantees and Steven Farrell does not make any promises. The client has full and sole responsibility for taking all decisions in their life or business. Steven Farrell has no responsibility or liability for any loss incurred by any client, financial or otherwise, following commencement of coaching sessions, or for any perceived failure by the client.
The client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and his/her coaching calls and interactions with the Coach.
As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach. The client understands coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for therapy and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.
Client acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of his or her life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles into those areas and implementing choices is exclusively the Client’s responsibility.
The coaching schedule will be arranged between Steven Farrell and the client in the coaching agreement.
Steven Farrell will recommend the frequency of coaching sessions based on a professional assessment of the client’s requirements. This recommendation, or plan, is not binding and may be altered and adjusted throughout the coaching journey by mutual agreement, in accordance with the terms set out in the coaching agreement. Depending upon the progress of work made between you and the coach, it may become apparent that more or less sessions are required. It is also not uncommon for new coaching objectives to arise during the process. If this is the case, your coach will discuss this with you.
The number and frequency of coaching session will be agreed at the start of coaching between Steven Farrell and the client, and confirmed by Steven Farrell by email.
In return for the fees payable by the client Steven Farrell agrees to provide Mind Coaching services. The client agrees to pay fees for the services (in situations where a third party pays the fees, the third party counts as an agent acting on behalf of the client).
The date that the first coaching session takes place shall be deemed to be the start date for the service. Where any client is unclear about any of the terms and conditions, they can contact Steven Farrell to discuss any concerns and see if they can be resolved before the first coaching session. Participation by any individual in the first coaching session constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
